Viridian Nutrition joins Soil Association’s Organic Beauty and Wellbeing Week 15-21 May 2017

Viridian Nutrition, the leading brand of ethical supplements, is delighted to support the Soil Association's Organic Beauty and Wellbeing Week (OBWW) 15-21 May 2017.

For the past five years, the UK’s leading organic certifier has been championing Organic Beauty Week to raise the profile of natural beauty products carrying the Soil Association standard logo.

Now an established event, the Soil Association is stepping up its campaign and also putting the spotlight on organic wellbeing products which support health and wellness.

Viridian Nutrition is proud to be the lead sponsor for the new wellbeing approach, alongside Neal’s Yard Remedies which is sponsoring the beauty element.

The awareness campaign itself will be launched at the Soil Association’s inaugural Organic Beauty and Wellbeing pop-up on 15 May.

Other brands will also be supporting the campaign which aims to increase the awareness of organic health, beauty and wellbeing products and their benefits under one East London pop-up roof.

Viridian’s founder Cheryl Thallon, said: “As an ethical nutritional supplements company where more than 40% of our range is certified organic, we’re proud to be part of the Soil Association’s first ever Organic Beauty and Wellbeing Week. The introduction of ‘wellbeing’ to this national initiative highlights the fundamental link between the health of the planet and the health of the individual.

“Viridian Nutrition believes our path to an improved quality of life starts with organic choices which are better for the mind, body and environment – a mutual philosophy shared by the Soil Association.

“We are looking forward to working with the Soil Association on this exciting campaign to help empower people to make positive health decisions for themselves and the planet.”

Lauren Bartley, Health and Beauty Business Development Manager at the Soil Association, said: “With the rise in demand for organic cosmetics and a more mindful approach to life (wellbeing) we hope the pop-up shop educates and inspires consumers to make informed choices when shopping organic. Certification with us means so much more than just using organic ingredients and we’re hoping to show that throughout the week.”
