Job Description & Person SpecificationTechnical Services Support

REPORTING TO: Technical Services Manager


LOCATION: Based at HQ.

To maintain provide outstanding administrative support to the Viridian Nutrition technical services team and customer base through application a high standard of organisational skills and product knowledge.
Working within a technical support team to help ensure technical, sales and customer service needs are met.
Provide in-house product support to consumers, trade customers, overseas distributors and the sales team.

=       Maintain and update all filing systems, on- and offline.
=       Answer product-related phone calls and emails to the best of your ability. Ensure customers are responded to in a timely manner.
=       Directing high-level enquiries to qualified personnel.
=       Supporting the production and maintenance of technical training programmes and tools.
=       Maintain standard operating procedure manual.
=       Mark all distance learning packs and return to customers with certificates.
=       Record and log all adverse events and complaints.
=       Work with technical director on label checks for new products and revised labels.
=       Communicate effectively with technical and sales team, including effective diary management.
=       Booking travel and managing expenses of the Technical Services Manager.
=       Other duties as deemed appropriate by the management team.

=       A passionate interest in nutrition and herbalism.
=       Previous experience in customer service or technical advisory role.

=       A basic or advanced qualification in nutrition and/or herbalism.

=       Exceptional organisational skills
=       Self motivated with a “can do” attitude.
=       Demonstrates good initiative.
=       Excellent customers service skills and communication.
=       Excellent time management skills.
=       Ability to adapt to new tasks assigned.
=       Experienced in the use of internet browsing, outlook and all Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power point etc.)

Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyse and interpret general periodicals, professional journals and industry regulations.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and to interpret a variety of information furnished in written and oral form.
