Organic stores helping London to better health

Tuesday November 3, 2015

An exciting week for the natural products sector as two independently-owned groups open new branches at either end of London’s popular Oxford Street.

Planet Organic owned by green entrepreneur Renee Elliott opens its seventh London store at the newly created Tottenham Court Walk, at the bottom of Centre Point tower on November 9th, 2015.

The store benefits from the astounding level of foot traffic generated by the redeveloped tube station at Tottenham Court Rd, and the soon to be opened Cross Rail station. It is thought that the potential pedestrian traffic for this area could reach 80 million people a year.

The new store covers 5000 sqft, arranged over two floors, with food, coffee and juice service counters and grocery on the ground floor, and a mezzanine level with seating, event space, health and body care.

Additionally, the Planet Organic branch at Torrington Place has been completely refurbished with increased floor space dedicated to Health & Beauty.

At the other end of Oxford Street, close to Marble Arch, organic supermarket As Nature Intended has just opened its sixth London store.

The 3,300 sqft Marble Arch store is the retailer’s biggest yet.

A fabulous one-stop shop for all things organic, fair trade, free-from, healthy and delicious, As Nature Intended will be a popular destination for foodies and wellness enthusiasts.

Viridian Nutrition is proud to be a supplier to both of these successful and innovative group of stores, helping London to better health.
