Get behind Organic September from the ground up!

Did you know lemon balm is an edible herb that has been researched for supporting healthy brain function? Or echinacea, known for its vibrant, pink petals has been studied for immunity?

In this short film showing the collaborative work between ethical supplement company Viridian Nutrition and national charity Garden Organic, we explore the therapeutic benefits of popular plants commonly grown in the garden and share tips on growing these botanicals organically.

Take a tour with Viridian’s Head Nutritionist Aimee Benbow and Garden Organic’s Head of Organic Horticulture Chris Collins, around the charity’s headquarters as they give an insight into the remarkable properties and tips on nurturing the following healthful plants:

  • Lemon Balm
  • Echinacea
  • Elderberry
  • Marigold
  • California Poppy
  • Comfrey
  • Sage

Filmed at Garden Organic’s headquarters in Warwickshire, this film shows the completed redeveloped organic demonstration garden carefully nurtured by the charity’s gardening team. This tranquil space which also serves as an outdoor learning area is sponsored by Viridian and contains many therapeutic plants, reflecting some of the organic ingredients in Viridian’s supplement range.
